CALENDAR

Here is a two week day calender:
Monday- Today is my traditional tea ceremony, Chanoyu. At my ceremony guests will include the Emperor, Shogun and several Daimyo. We will be drinking my favorite kind of tea, Matcha. Matcha was originally drank by Zen priests. Sometimes, if the happier Daimyo are invited we usually play the game Tocha.

Tuesday- Today I write. I write plays, haiku's, and even chapters from "The Tale of Genji." I also travel to the covered corridor of the estate to sit outside and think.

Wednesday- Kabuki Day! Today, my daughter travel into the city to see a Kabuki play. Usually, we see a noble or two there. I hope to see all 300 Kabuki plays that have been written and performed.

Thursday- Today is my shopping day. I LOVE TO SHOP! Thursday is the day where I buy tons of kimonos. Sometimes I wear twelve at once.

Friday- Today is my Ikebana lesson. I think that flower arrangement is a noble art and should be taught and learned.

Saturday- More writing. Well, I am a writer, that's what I do.

Sunday- Today is my Bajutsu lesson. Bajutsu is the Japanese art of horsemanship. I love horses and to be able to do a mans sport is very fulfilling.

Monday- Today I am writing some Haiku's about aware while watching the testing of new swords.

Tuesday- Today Empress Akiko and I are going for a spa day in the city.

Wednesday- Today I had an unpleasant visit with Sei Shonagon. I can't believe that she would venture into my palace and try to write!

Thursday- Today I am reading from the Buddhist scriptures.

Friday- I am going to the sword maker to have him construct a sword for my father's birthday.

Saturday- Today is mother daughter day with Kenshi. She is so excited.

Sunday- Today I am going to see a Bunraku puppet show.
